Have you seen the video Remember Me yet? Fifteen year old Lizzy Palmer put this amazing video together to remind us to support our troops. Whether or not you agree with the war we need to remember that there are men and women who put their life on the line today in hope of a peaceful tomorrow. Amen about the troop support.. My cousin is in the Army and has been in Iraq twice, and now Afghanistan.. Another cousin’s husband died in Afghanistan.. His family said that he went doing what he wanted.. He requested the job that would put him in the hot spots.. He was really cool.

ditto! Our troops need our support more than ever now.
I have 2 cousins and a very good friend over in Iraq and Afghanistan. I worry about them. I want them to come home safely.

Thank you for your troop support post. We certainly need reminders of this - it’s so easy to take our freedom for granted.
It’s a shame that the media takes their good work and rips it apart for the sake of their own personal agenda. The good thing is that the average man and woman still KNOWS what our troops are doing & WHY. And like you, I appreciate their sacrifice so greatly.

I think it is inspirational that a young woman decided to put that video together. We all need reminding every now and then about the sacrifices our troops (and their familes) make for us.
