Milk Breath and Margaritas (love that name!) tagged me with I think my choice of memes. She wrote a creative post combining several memes. I’m too lazy and not as creative as Amy so I chose the Middle Name Meme.
- You have to post these rules before you give the facts.
- Players, you must list one fact that is somehow relevant to your life for each letter of their middle name. If you don’t have a middle name, use the middle name you would have liked to have had.
- When you are tagged you need to write your own blog-post containing your own middle name game facts.
- At the end of your blog-post, you need to choose one person for each letter of your middle name to tag.
- Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.
My middle is Ann. So unoriginal. My mom wanted my middle name to be Love after Get Christie Love which was her favorite show at the time but my dad wouldn’t have it. I wish my mom would have won that battle because Love is actually a cool middle name. I wish I had chosen it for one of my girls.
A is for accident. I was an unplanned pregnancy. My parents had to get married because my mom got knocked up with me.
N is for nearsighted. I am extremely nearsighted. I cannot see my hand in front of my face. My contact prescription is -5 for the right and -5.25 for the left. Not sure what that really means except that I have very poor eyesight. I call my contacts my “eyes” because I can’t see anything without them.
The other N is for naughty. No explanation needed.

My toddler always asks me to “wear eyes” whenever I take off my glasses. I don’t know whether he is just too lazy to say eyeglasses or that he can’t pronounce it properly. Or perhaps, he has it figured out that my glasses are in fact my eyes!

Also severely nearsighted here. It appears that’s a common trait among bloggers. Who knew?
I don’t wear contacts, though, because my eyes are really sensitive and so I decided contacts were more trouble than they were worth. Besides, I like to imagine my glasses make me look smarter than I really am.

My 5-year-old is always asking me what my contacts are and I call them my eyeballs! (Also VERY nearsighted…ugh!)

I didn’t know you were nearsighted! My prescription is -4.75, so I’m close.
“Ann” IS pretty lame. I’ve got Eileen as one of mine. Blech. I wanted “Willow” for one of my girls but my guy wouldn’t have it.

-5 is pretty nearsighted. I used to be a -5, but went down to a -4 in one eye, and a -3.75 in the other. I haven’t read an eye chart without some form of corrective lenses in years.
