I think a member of my hubby’s family may have found my blog. I noticed on my statcounter that someone from St. Louis emailed one of my posts that would be of interest to members of his family. I hope I’m just being paranoid and I haven’t actually been “found”. I really don’t want his […]
It’s no secret that I’m a chocoholic. (Did you notice my new flashy button in my sidebar?) I hoard the stuff and have little hiding places that my family always seem to find. I really hate sharing my chocolate stash so at times I hide my chocolate in places that I don’t think my family […]
I must admit that I don’t have much to post about these days. Actually I do but I think you will all stop being my friend if I keep writing about what size implants I should get because that is all that is on my mind right now. I’ve turned into a boob obsessed woman! […]
It has been a crazy couple of days. We had a wicked ice and snow storm blow through here. I lost my internet until today but I consider myself lucky because there are still hundreds of thousands of people without electricity.
On Thursday I braved the bad weather for a doctor’s appointment along with all […]
I want to thank everyone who left supportive comments in regards to my car anxiety that I wrote about in this post. Hubby read the post and comments. I think he needed to see that I’m not the only mom who freaks out about car safety. After reading it he came and found me to […]
I’m someone who doesn’t believe in coincidences. I think everything happens for a reason especially bad things in order for lessons to be learned, for change to happen, and to allow for grace. I’ve written about this grace before in my 9-11 Remembrance post.
Today I ran across a video that helped affirm that I’m […]
I’m back from our fifth annual Branson vacation with hubby and kids. We went with another family with kids close to the same age as ours and for the most part had a good time. The weather started off fabulously warm but turned quite cold when the wind and rain came in on Friday. Saturday […]
I am a self professed slacker mom. I answer to Kristie or slackermommy.
My house is a mess, my kids are obnoxious, and my husband is sexually deprived.
I drive my kids to school in my pj's, I can make a couple of Happy Meals from the floor of my car, my kids eat in front of the television, and I believe a dirty house helps kids have a healthy immune system.
If you can relate then this blog is for you. No sugar coating on my blog. Let's get real about being a mommy, wife, sister, and friend.
