I’m tired.
I’ve only been getting 5-6 hours of sleep every night due to adrenaline, insomnia, stress, and worry.
My sister has moved back home after living away for 15 years. Up until yesterday her and her family were staying here. It was pretty chaotic having four adults, six kids, three dogs, and two bunnies in my […]
Of course I said YES when PBN asked me to review The White Trash Mom Handbook. Duh! So forgive me if this review seems a bit biased.
My sister and I have used the term “white trash” for years to describe cool, unpretentious, and fun women. When telling each other about a new friend it is […]
I washed my kids hair with the hose and a bottle of shampoo that I keep in the garage just for this purpose. (How’s that for white trash, Michelle?)
I forgot to wash Madeline’s leotard for dance class so I threw it in the dryer with a Bounce sheet to freshen it up.
I was running late […]
You know what sucks?
When you are such a slacker that you wait until the day of the premiere of Hanna Montana’s 3D concert on Disney to pick up the free 3D glasses from Walmart. Only to find out that they are all gone but there’s a pair in every t.v. guide which Walmart was also […]
I have found myself in a situation where a series of unfortunate events have left me looking and feeling like an idiot.
It all began with an item that was donated to our school auction by a business woman that I’ve met through blogging. A new family at our school bought the item at the auction […]
Here is the update to the update of my Smart Discipline post.
The charts continue to work really well for Isabelle and Connor. Their behavior has greatly improved with their quest to not get any X’s on their charts. Madeline of course had to find a loop hole in the chart but is quickly finding out […]
I had some requests for an update on how the Smart Discipline charts are going. So far they are working great for two of my kids but my spirited and strong willed firstborn, Madeline is in need of the Smart Ass Discipline chart. She’s the child who will find her way around any discipline tactic […]
Aren’t toddlers little sponges? If you want to see how you talk or behave then just watch your toddler. Some toddlers like to pretend that they are cooking, washing the car, or going to work. What does mine do?
She even has a box of Donettes near by. All that’s missing is a Diet Cherry Vanilla […]
The nerve of some people can just blow me away. I also can’t believe how some people can stick their nose in other people’s business and do it with such entitlement and I especially cannot stand a busybody. My subdivision has several. One in particular has done something that left me momentarily speechless.
We had a […]
Momish tagged me with Kristen’s Real Mom meme. Here’s my definition of a real mom:
A real mom supports other moms. A real mom does not judge another mom’s parenting skills because her toddler is throwing a tantrum. A real mom says to the mother, “My toddler does the same thing. Isn’t frustrating?” A real […]
I am a self professed slacker mom. I answer to Kristie or slackermommy.
My house is a mess, my kids are obnoxious, and my husband is sexually deprived.
I drive my kids to school in my pj's, I can make a couple of Happy Meals from the floor of my car, my kids eat in front of the television, and I believe a dirty house helps kids have a healthy immune system.
If you can relate then this blog is for you. No sugar coating on my blog. Let's get real about being a mommy, wife, sister, and friend.
